On January 22nd at MIT Reality Hack 2026, Luke unveiled the second prototype of his original MR music performance tool, “Real Eyes,” leading the workshop XR Music Performance and Collaboration. This video showcases the way Luke can seamlessly transition between different parts of a song with the wave of a hand as well as triggering virtual instrument sound effects. The workshop discussed the history of XR music performance, ways for developers to create and integrate audio in projects, and this demo.
